Alex Trainor

Alex volunteers at our Pop in and Chat session every Wednesday and makes sure all our members feel welcome from the moment they walk through the door. He meets and greets, makes hot drinks and ensures everyone is looked after. Alex makes everyone smile with his warm, friendly personality and loves to chat and share his experiences. Alex is adept at meeting famous faces out on his travels and has a camera role full of pictures of him beaming next to various local celebs. Ask him to show you and I’m sure he will be happy to share!

Alex is always busy and when he isn’t at the autism hub, he is volunteering at one of his other placements, be it at the British Heart Foundation shop, Grozone Community Garden or Witton Albion football club.  Football is one of Alex’s passions and as well as stewarding at matches, he plays for a team too.

Alex is often seen at Pop In with his friend and fellow Dial West Cheshire volunteer Tom. Not only do they make a great team in the kitchen, but they are also a bit of a comedy duo making us laugh with their jokes. We are now used to the familiar sound of the two of them giggling away most Wednesdays!
