Self care is really important, especially for autistic individuals who may experience more every day stress that neurotypical people.
Self-care can help you to nourish your wellbeing and manage stress. Things like getting enough sleep, going out for a walk, doing an activity that makes you happy, keeping the house tidy, brushing your teeth and taking a shower are some examples of self care activities which can be built in to your daily/weekly schedule. However, remembering to do all the things you want and should do is difficult.
