Waiting Well
Waiting Well is a newly developed service to run alongside the Autism Hub that will support people through the assessment process and post-diagnosis (where applicable) in a person-centred way. We will do this by providing in-person support before and after the assessment, helping people to know what to expect during the process and offering an autism-friendly space to undertake the assessment if required.
If you are waiting an assessment for autism via the NHS Pathway, please contact us via the Waiting Well Service.
Our Waiting Well Service Navigator is Laura Davies. Find out more about Laura here.
You are able to receive support from both services at the same time and can contact Waiting Well by contacting us by email – waitingwell@dialwestcheshire.org.uk
Cheshire and Wirral Partnership Trust Waiting Well Activities
CWP (the NHS Trust who deliver diagnostic assessment in Cheshire West) also have some sessions designed to help support anyone on the waiting list for an autism assessment.
This includes workshops (virtual and in person at Eastway) and also wellbeing walks at the Countess of Chester Country Park. All of these activities and details on how to book can be seen on the Events page of our website.
