DESCRIPTION:Our pop in and chat session is every Wednesday 1-3pm. This is an informal social session with board games\, jigsaws\, colouring and fidget toys\, where members can chat to each other over a tea/coffee. Our staff and volunteers are on hand to ask questions or chat to but not on a 1:1 basis.

It will cover different topics each week including social communication and connection\, exploring sensory issues and how these affect you\, executive functioning\, masking\, autistic burnout and associated mental health difficulties\, exploring the strengths of autism and helping to build a positive autistic identity.

SUMMARY:Walking Activity for Waiting Well with CWP
DESCRIPTION:Walks will be held on Tuesday afternoons or Wednesday mornings in Chester. Attendees may bring 1 carer/PA along (a place must be booked for them also). Places will be limited to 6 people. \nThe walks will be slow paced and suitable for most. (see below) \nWhat is the purpose of the walk: \n\nTo offer support to people on the CWP waitlist for autism assessment.\nTo bring people together with Outreach & Support workers to answer any queries about the diagnostic pathway at CWP.\nTo encourage health and wellbeing benefits of being out in nature.\n\nTo book on to the workshop\, and for any queries\, please email:\ncwp.adultautismservice@nhs.net \nLocation of the walk:\nCHESTER – Meet at Eastway\, Countess of Chester Health Park\, 3km easy stroll loop around\nCountess of Chester Country Park \nNOTE ON ACCESSIBILTY – the walk is not suitable for wheelchairs due to the gates.\nChildren\, babies and Dogs will not be permitted on the walks. \nVERY IMPORTANT:\nPlease make sure that you can walk 3km\, all participants do so at their own risk. DESCRIPTION:PC Anna Marcinkiewicz from Cheshire Constabulary will be joining us at Pop in and Chat bi-monthly on the last Wednesday of the month in September and November. This is to build trust and good relations with our members so they feel able to report issues or ask for help from the police if they ever need it. PC Marcinkiewicz will also be answering any questions our members have about policing\, staying safe and the law.
